With last night's win the Regina River Rats Junior Hockey Club sweeps the Bredenbury Tundra Junior Hockey Club three games to none. The River Rats will advance the Qu'appelle Valley Jr Hockey League Final for the fourth straight season!!
Friday night is a big night for the Wolseley Mustangs Junior "C" Hockeyclub. With one more win over the Yellow Grass Junior C Wheat Kingsthe Mustangs will move on to challenge the River Rats in the QVJHL final! Game three of the best of five series goes on Friday March 9th at 8pm at the Wolseley Sportsplex. Get there early to get a good seat as last game was almost sold out!! Game four if needed will be March 10th in Yellow Grass at 8pm. Game five if necessary is March 11 in Wolseley at 4pm.
The Provincial Final will begin sometime after March 12th and must be completed by March 31st. The Provincial Junior C Final is a five game series. If the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings defeat the Wolseley Mustangs the Regina River Rats will have home ice advantage in the final. If the Mustangs sweep the Wheat Kings on Friday night Wolseley will have home ice advantage as they were the QVJHL regular season champions finishing first in the standings.
