Announcing…A contest to select a new logo for Canadian Masters Athletics. It’s time for a refresh!
Our logo will be used on our website canadianmasters.ca, newsletters, merchandise, social media, banners, etc.
We want the new logo to represent us! So you, the people of Canada, are the best ones to help us with that. We promote ourselves on our website and social media as a vibrant and welcoming community of Canadians aged 35+ who share a passion for track and field, cross country, road running and race walking. We promote fun, friendships, and fitness. It would be ideal if any or all of these concepts would be represented in our logo. The winning logo will be chosen by the Board of Directors of Canadian Masters Athletics.
The designer of the chosen logo will be paid an honorarium of $400 and will surrender copyright to Canadian Masters Athletics. The designer must also agree to work with the CMA on any necessary minor alterations, to make the design fit all requirements. But of course the designer will be recognized as the creator or contributor. The CMA BOD reserves the right to not choose any of the submitted designs, if we feel that they do not fit our requirements.

Design must be created in a vector file, using software such as Adobe Illustrator, or a logo creator such as Looka.
Design must be suitable for paper or clothing or social media and not be too “heavy” or detailed…not using a lot of ink and able to appear clearly on a garment in thread
Design should be taller rather than wider but in two versions…horizontal and vertical
Any words must be bilingual in a thick print…or no words at all
