On April 1 at about 5:00 pm, the Melfort RCMP received a call about a break and enter in progress to a property in the rural area near Kinistino. The Melfort RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in keeping an eye out for a vehicle and male suspects that are inside the vehicle. These suspects are vehicle are actively going onto rural properties and trying to steal items and vehicles. They were at a rural property in the Crystal Springs area this morning and were last seen at a rural property northeast of Naicam about 15-20 minutes ago. 2025 ended pretty much the same way it started for your Nipawin Fire Department with a vehicle rollover at the eastern edges of our response boundary along Hwy 55 in the Northern Forest. Weds Dec 31st 07:03 NFD were toned out for an MVC just north of the Red Earth turnoff. All three occupants were transported by our partners at North East EMS. NFD closed out the year with 260 calls.
