Friends of Royal Saskatchewan Museum Fundraiser

Everyone is getting excited for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum’s most popular fundraising event, Artifact/Artifiction: A Game of Deception, Deduction and Discovery.

“Artifact/Artifiction is an event like no other as participants listen carefully to men and women of science to determine who is sharing a marvel of the natural world and who is stating 'facts' with fingers crossed behind their back,” Hosted by the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, participants match wits with museum curators, collections managers and archivists. Twenty peculiar artifacts and twenty even stranger tales about their origins will be displayed throughout the museum’s gallery spaces as participants attempt to decipher which stories are tall-tales and which are truths.

Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Gene Makowsky said. “In the end, everyone wins by having a great time and helping the museum advance its scientific research.”

Held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m on March 18th, 2018., the evening will include a raffle, silent auction and entertainment. Appetizers are generously provided by Save-On-Foods and the cash bar features draft from Rebellion Brewing Company. Guests must be 19 years or older to attend.
