Today is Free admission day at Batoche National Historic Site

In addition to having a free admission day on Canada Day, Parks Canada is adding a second free admission day to Batoche National Historic site near Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.

Typically it is $7.80 for Adults and $6.55 for Seniors. Admission is always free for children.

Batoche is an hour north of Saskatoon by road and an hour south of Prince Albert. The site is open seasonally between May and October for visitors to hike the trails, take part in special events and explore the original buildings from the 1800s. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours at the site; many visitors come for the whole day
