Regina German Club needs your help!

Dear valued Members, Volunteers and fellow Lovers of the German Culture.

For over 70 years, the German Canadian Society has been a place of community and cultural celebration. Together we have celebrated many things, from sharing language, song and dance to adapting with the changes in society and surviving a worldwide pandemic. Many friendships and memories have been created within these walls, and we are reworking our business model to be able to continue that for another 70 years.

We are passionate about this place and know that you are too, which is why we are making you all aware of our current situation.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The current Economic situation, following pandemic losses, have left us under severe financial strain. We have a number of infrastructure issues in our aging building to address and are faced with societal challenges in our neighbourhood.

If we all come together and support this community hub, we are confident we can move past this current situation and continue providing all of you with your favourite German Club services and events.

We have decided to temporarily reduce our restaurant hours during our annual summer break, between July and August, to restructure our business, repair what we can and be ready to serve you better in September.

Our plan is to have the Biergarten open every Saturday and will honour our existing July and August bookings during the interim. If you are interested in booking with us during this break, we would be happy to try to accommodate you.

We are excited to announce that some of your favorite food items, ie; Bratwurst, will soon be available for purchase at select local retailers- Stay tuned!

We are asking you to:

Attend what you can, and often. You can always find up to date events on our website or socials: www.reginagermanclub.ca / https://www.facebook.com/groups/104332539598802

Consider us for your next event, like weddings, office meetings, birthday parties, reunions, dances, etc. To book with us, contact Kerri at info@reginagermanclub.ca or call 306.352.5897, and we’ll book you in.

Make us one of your social destinations! As mentioned, visit us at our Biergarten during the summer, visit our restaurant during our business hours, or meet a friend for a beer and play darts, pool, etc.

Express an interest in this rich culture and get involved by volunteering or joining one of our member groups. There are so many things we’d love your help with, like planning for Summer Solstice, Oktoberfest, and the Christmas market, or volunteering in the Biergarten, or by joining our board. Contact Kerri at info@reginagermanclub.com or Andrea at 306.202.8411 to get involved.

We would like everyone to know that all of your time, efforts and financial assistance have always been appreciated and have helped fuel us along the way.
