Red River Polytechnic played host to the Winnipeg Team Handball League Men's Semi Finals on Sunday March 19th in North West Winnipeg. The first match of the day took place at 10:30am between the Winnipeg Pikeys HC and the Winnipeg Shockers HC. The Pikeys finished the regular season in 4th place with a record of 12-6-0. The Shockers are coming into the playoffs in 5th place after the regular season with a record of 4-14-0.
Final score was 23-22 in a nail biter in favor of the Winnipeg Pikeys HC. The Winnipeg Pikeys HC advance to the WTHL semi finals to take on the 1st place Winnipeg Blitz HC on Sunday March 26th at Red River Polytechnic Notre Dame Campus North Gym in Winnipeg at 11:40am.
