31 year old Yorkton Man faces Attempted Murder Charges

A 31-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in Yorkton, Sask. Monday.

At around 5:00 a.m. CT on Sept. 19, RCMP were called to a residence on Parkview Road for a report of a stabbing. Police said a woman was transported to Yorkton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was located a short time later by police and arrested.

Skylar Redstar has been charged with attempted murder and assault. He appeared in provincial court in Yorkton Tuesday morning.
