RCMP are seeking two men wanted in an abduction west of Yorkton

RCMP are seeking two men wanted in an abduction and serious assault on a southeastern Saskatchewan reserve.

The alleged assault took place in a remote area of the Muscowpetung First Nation between late Sunday evening and early Monday morning, according to RCMP.

A 42-year-old victim was taken to hospital in Regina and is said to be in stable condition. Police have not released the victim’s gender.

Police are looking for 32-year-old Wade Morris Lerat and 22-year-old Tyler Louis Yuzicappi. Both men have been charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping and overcoming resistance.

Mounties say the victim and the two accused are all from the Muscowpetung First Nation. No suspect descriptions or photos have been released.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lerat and Yuzicappi is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
