QVJHL expands to 8 teams

At the Qu'appelle Valley Jr Hockey League Annual General Meeting on Sunday April 2nd, the league officially accepted 4 new expansion franchises member to the QVJHL.

The league is welcoming 4 new expansion franchises for the 2017/2018 Season: Bredenbury Tundra, Wolseley Mustangs, Cupar Canucks and the Yellowgrass Wheat Kings.

Next season the QVJHL will have 8 teams in 2 divisions: North and South:

The North Division will include: Balcarres Broncs Junior Hockey Club, Bredenbury Tundra, Cupar Canucks & Wolseley Mustangs.

The South Division will include: Regina River Rats Junior Hockey Club, Lumsden Jaxx Junior Hockey Club, White Butte Eagles Junior Hockey Club & the Yellowgrass Wheat Kings.
