Davidson Cyclones eliminated in Game 3 by Lumsden Monarchs

It wasn't the Valentine's Day present that the defending 2025 Saskatchewan Senior B Men's Hockey Champions; Davidson Cyclones were expecting to receive, The Lumsden Monarchs handed Davidson a 8-2 loss to eliminate the Cyclones in the first round of the 2026 Saskatchewan Senior A Men's Provincial Championships in the third and final game of the series.


After taking game 1 over the Lumsden Monarchs by a score of 5-2 at home at AGT Centre in Davidson on February 7th, the Monarchs bounced back in Game 2 by shutting out the Davidson Cyclones by a score of 4-0 back in Lumsden at the Lumsden Sports Centre on February 13th, forcing Game 3 the next night back in Davidson.


The Lumsden Monarchs will advance to the Henderson Cup South Semi-Finals and will play the Kindersley Klippers. No dates have been announced at the time of publishing this article but the series will have to be completed by March 2nd, 2026.
