Melville RCMP are looking for information in Hit and Run on Queen Street

On January 14th, 2026, Melville RCMP responded to a 911 complaint on Queen Street in Melville.


The caller reported that as they were traveling south on Queen Street near the intersection of 6th Avenue West, a vehicle was following them closely. The suspect vehicle then pulled out and passed on the left side of the callers vehicle, sideswiping the driver’s door in the process.

The suspect vehicle then fled the scene.


The caller did not sustain any injuries but was quite shaken up.


A photo of the suspect vehicle was obtained. It’s described as an older red GM regular cab pickup truck. Police continue to investigate.
