One Arrested Following Weapons Offence

On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 3:05 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue East for a report of a weapons offence involving bear spray. Officers arrived on scene and located multiple victims suffering from the effects of bear spray. EMS arrived and provided treatment on scene for those in need. One individual was transported to hospital for further assessment. Yesterday morning, April 15, 2026, at approximately 10:10 a.m.

Melfort RCMP searching for Break and Enter Suspect

On April 1 at about 5:00 pm, the Melfort RCMP received a call about a break and enter in progress to a property in the rural area near Kinistino. Police responded to the area immediately and are actively making patrols to locate the suspects and involved vehicle.
