Queen Elizabeth II, age 96, the longest-serving British monarch and Canadian head of state, has died.

Queen Elizabeth II was under medical supervision at her summer residence Balmoral Castle in Scotland after doctors raised concerns about the 96-year-old monarch's health on Thursday.
