Saskatchewan Liberal Party elects new leader

On Saturday, voting members unanimously approved Jeff Walters as the new leader of The Saskatchewan Liberal Party.
“We are currently at a defining moment in our history. Our province is under siege from COVID-19, our planet is in peril due to impending climate change, our healthcare system is broken, our economy is out of balance, our education system fails too many of our children, and our politics are currently broken. For the first time in a long time, our Party has a chance to build a new political majority…with people from both the left and right.”
