The week 8 Great Western Brewing Company Senior Player of the Week has been awarded to Teddy Yuzicappi from Standing Buffalo Fighting Sioux.

Teddy helped his team to three wins in week 8 including a standout performance against the Saskatoon Brewers.

When Teddy isn’t starting in net, he can be found protecting the crease during intermission and keeping the fans entertained.

Senior Lacrosse making a comeback in Assiniboia

Assiniboia has put together an Assiniboia Attack Allumni Team to take on the Moose Jaw Mafia Senior B Lacrosse Club of the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League in an exhibition game on July 3rd, 2026 in hopes of drumming up enthusiasm for a Senior Men's PGLL team in 2027.
