A 45-year-old man was arrested yesterday following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Hate Crime Unit.

In 2024, Saskatoon Police received a complaint about an individual making anti-Semitic comments online. A subsequent investigation by the Hate Crime Unit identified the individual, and a search warrant executed at a residence resulted in the seizure of digital evidence as well as a firearm.

The 45-year-old is charged with Public Incitement of Hatred and Unsafe Storage of a Firearm. He is appearing in Provincial Courtroom #1 at 9:00 a.m., this morning. (Court Info #: 991325016)
