After 29 memorable years in the Saskatchewan Valley Hockey League (SVHL), we want to sincerely thank the SVHL, its executive, officials, and all member teams for the competition, camaraderie, and support provided to our organization and our community over nearly three decades. Those years created countless lasting memories and friendships that we will always cherish.

However, after careful review of the league’s current direction and trends in recent years, it became clear that continuing in the SVHL was no longer in the best long-term interest of our organization, our players, and our fans. We thoroughly explored every available option — including remaining in the SVHL and making adjustments, as well as joining various other leagues — before reaching a decision.
It is with excitement that we announce the Kenaston Blizzards will be joining the Long Lake Hockey League (LLHL) for the 2026/27 season. We extend our sincere thanks to the LLHL executive and all member teams for welcoming us into their league. We believe this move provides the strongest opportunity for competitive, sustainable, and enjoyable senior hockey for our club.
We are eager for the new challenges and high level of competition that lie ahead, and we cannot wait for the 2026/27 season to begin.
Thank you to our dedicated fans, sponsors, volunteers, and the entire Kenaston community for your continued support. We look forward to representing our town with pride in the LLHL.
